New London – Ronald Lee Boysworth, 86, entered eternal life May 2, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born April 16, 1940, in New London, the son of the late John and Estelle (Brown) Boysworth.
He was predeceased by his wife Dorothy Mae (Webb) Boysworth.
Mr. Boysworth was a Vietnam veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force. After retiring his career in the Air Force, he later served in the Connecticut Army National Guard, retiring at the rank of Platoon Sergeant First Class.
A graveside service will be held with military honors at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 21, in Jordan Cemetery, 240 Boston Post Road, Waterford.
The Impellitteri-Malia Funeral home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London has been entrusted with his care. A complete obituary will appear in a later edition of The Day.
