Evon Jr., our Adjutant General and Commander of the Connecticut National Guard, was elected President of the Adjutants General Association of the United States (AGAUS). The election took place during AGAUS’s Summer Conference in St. Augustine, Florida.
This prestigious role places Major General Evon at the forefront of national-level discussions that shape the future of the National Guard. As President, he will lead efforts to advocate for readiness, modernization, and strategic priorities that directly impact our force at both the state and federal levels.
