State Conference planning is in full swing. We are pleased to host the conference at the CT Science Center March 21-22nd. The conference starts on Friday night with a Hartford Wolfpack game. We have seating in the Electric Boat suite with a buffet for our members. The game’s theme is guns and hoses. The puck drop is at 7 pm. We start the day bright and early on Saturday with an 0830 check-in. We will be hosting two different panels during the conference. We will have a legislative panel in the morning with CT Representatives from the Veterans Affairs committee. In the afternoon, we will have a workforce development panel with industry leaders to discuss military members and veteran integration into the workforce. This year, we will be hosting a spouse lunch at The Old State House with guest speaker Mel Smith. I’m most excited about our evening event, 90s Prom. We are encourage everyone to dress up in their best 90s attire. If the 90s aren’t your thing, that’s ok, just dress up. The board has been working countless hours putting this event together.
