About us.
National Guard Association of Connecticut
What We Do.
We are the voice of the Connecticut National Guard.
The National Guard Association of Connecticut (NGACT) is an active, charter member of two national organizations, the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States (EANGUS) and the National Guard Association of the United States (NGAUS).
NGACT works to improve the welfare and efficiency of the National Guard of Connecticut and the National Guard of the United States and to achieve their interests. We strive to improve relations between the Connecticut National Guard and the general public. Our goal is to obtain benefits for Guard members similar to those enjoyed by our counterparts in the Active component. We partner with our state and federal congressional delegations enabling effective communication of our message to continuously improve our relevance, readiness, modernization, and quality of life.

We promote the interests of the Connecticut Guard and its members by educating the public on the guard’s roles, capabilities, and requirements.
We support the Connecticut National Guard by hosting and sponsoring events. NGACT strives to encourage increased association, friendship, understanding, and cooperation among our members.
