The National Defense Authorization Act has passed and provides numerous benefits for the National Guard!  These benefits would not have been possible, but for the efforts of EANGUS and NGAUS, with the support and inputs of the Membership of NGACT.

The composition and powers of the Senate are established by Article One of the United States Constitution.  The Senate is composed of senators, each of whom represents a single state in its entirety. Each state, regardless of its population size, is equally represented by two senators who serve staggered terms of six years.  There being at present 50 states in the Union, there are currently 100 senators.

The Connecticut House of Representatives is the lower house in the Connecticut General Assembly, the state legislature of the US state of Connecticut.  The house is composed of 151 members representing an equal number of districts, with each constituency containing nearly 22,600 residents.

The Connecticut State Senate is the upper house of the Connecticut General Assembly, the state legislature of the US state of Connecticut.  The state senate comprises 36 members, each representing a district with around 99,280 inhabitants.
