Membership

Welcome and thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the National Guard Association of Connecticut. Membership in our organization requires payment of annual dues at the beginning of each calendar year. The NGACT dues structure is a flat base rate and with on-going fund raising and annual events, we have not had to raise those premiums for several years. Your annual dues are used to support a variety of charitable events, scholarships, and retirement events which benefit members and their families and retirees of our Guard family. 

Your membership in NGACT makes a powerful statement about your commitment to the Connecticut National Guard, your investment in the future of our Guard, and investment in your career as a professional soldier or airman. Members of NGACT enjoy a strong social network with military peers, leaders and subordinates alike. While there is no requirement to participate in monthly meetings or to participate in NGACT functions, we ask that all members consider taking an active role in our monthly meetings and annual events. These events are largely informal and offer a unique opportunity for members of all ranks to interact in an informal setting. Even into retirement, NGACT members enjoy the strong camaraderie and unparalleled advantage in maintaining relationships with those who still serve in uniform.

When completing your enrollment form for NGACT, you are encouraged to also complete enrollment in the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States (EANGUS) and/or the  National Guard Association of the United States (NGAUS).  This will allow you to make one simple payment to NGACT and our officials will handle payment to our national association. Participation in both organizations is not mandatory; however, membership in NGAUS strengthens our influence in national level defense issues and legislation. Please consider enrolling in both organizations at this time.
